Download the same version software that designers, engineers, and digital artists are using. You can obtain and use the newest editions of 2D and 3D products, such as Autodesk® Inventor®, Autodesk® Revit®, Autodesk® 3ds Max®, Autodesk® Maya®, and AutoCAD®; and at no additional monetary cost to you.

Microsoft Development Network Academic Alliance (rebranded as DreamSpark)

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), and Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) have each contracted with Microsoft to obtain an MSDNAA (now called DreamSpark) subscription on behalf of their students.  This software includes many popular Microsoft titles. Some of the most popular programs include Visual Studio, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, SQL Server, and Exchange Server.

SOLIDWORKS

SOLIDWORKS is a computer-aided-design (CAD) software tool that is capable of modeling three dimensional objects. The College of Engineeering has licensed SOLIDWORKS for use in the classroom, and for installation and use by students on their personally-owned computer (for academic work only). Some engineering courses use the software as part of the curriculum, while for other courses the software is a suggested tool.
