Abstract:
In this talk, Dr. Moritz will discuss how anthropologists use rigorous research design in ethnographic research projects drawing from his research with mobile pastoralists in Cameroon and from a graduate course he teaches on Research Design and Ethnographic Methods.
Bio:
Dr. Moritz conducts interdisciplinary research on complex social-ecological systems, which has been supported by multiple grants from the National Science Foundation. His work has been published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Ecological Modelling, Human Ecology, and the Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation.
