Our research group focuses on studying the intersection between motivation and identity to improve engineering students’ success. The group is lead by Dr. Rachel Louis Kajfez and includes a team of graduate and undergraduate researchers specializing in engineering education. Currently our research group is working to address the following research questions:

1. In what ways can we better support the development of engineering students?
2. In what ways can we improve the student experience to support their drive to succeed?
3. In what ways can we better train teachers in engineering to support students’ learning?
4. In what ways can we encourage and support a diverse engineering student body?
