Renee Desing is a second year PhD student in the Department of Engineering Education. She is currently advised by Dr. Rachel Kajfez and is a member of the RIME Collaborative ( Her research interests include the transition of women engineering graduates from college to the workforce and their motivation to persist with their careers. Prior to coming to OSU, Renee worked in industry, most recently as a managing consultant for IBM, and obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Pennsylvania State University, respectively.
