Biography

Paul Clingan is a senior lecturer in the Department of Engineering Education (EED) at The Ohio State University (OSU).  He earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and subsequently worked in the petroleum industry developing software.  He has extensive experience developing curriculum, focuses on creating a psychologically safe space in the classroom, and emphasizes collaboration and making connections with students.  He has been teaching first-year engineering students since 2002.
