First-year engineering students showcased their cornerstone design projects in the Fundamentals of Engineering for Honors Program (FEH) robot competition held on April 6th at the Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC).

The competition required each team of three to four students to design, build and program an autonomous robot using creativity and engineering principles to complete specified tasks on a course designed and built by the program’s teaching assistants. The theme of the 2019 competition challenged teams to prepare an arcade for a day of business.
