Graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants from the Department of Engineering Education helped run hands-on activity sessions in the inaugural Buckeye Engineering Grandparents Day, held on August 2.

Grandparents day is a full day for engineering grandparents to bring their grandchild(ren) to campus to show them how fun and exciting engineering can be. Throughout the day families were able to participate in hands-on STEM-related activities including Mr. Potato Head Assembly and Toy Adaptation, which are labs offered to students in the FE and FEH programs. Grandparents day is held by the College of Engineering and is set to become a yearly event.
