Instructional Technology (Support and Services)
The EED enhances the teaching and learning environment within the college by encouraging and supporting the development, evaluation, and use of appropriate technologies.
The College has used technology in various forms since its inception. The genesis of formal contemporary college-level activities regarding technology use for instruction occurred during AY1992-1993. That original effort dealt mainly with the use of computers and engineering software. More recently the program has evolved to address such issues as computer hardware and software acquisition and licensing, professional development, audio/visual tools, curriculum modification, and space utilization.
