POLICY AND INTERNATIONAL: Engineering Education PhD-holders are a unique population that acquire a broadrange of skills and interdisciplinary knowledge that offer great value to companies, and position graduates with an unfair advantage in various industries. We will explore a few options and actions students can take, today, to explore and define their next career steps.

Velvet holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering, and a PhD in Engineering Education. She is currently pursuing her Executive MBA in France, is an advisor for a global venture firm in Canada and investing nonprofit in Belgium
