Fundamentals of Engineering for Honors I – Advanced
Designed for students who already possess computer-programming knowledge, the Advanced version of Engineering 1281H provides more accelerated study and more challenging coursework. This course introduces students to engineering problem-solving using computational tools such as Excel and MATLAB. Students develop complex algorithms and become fluent in the C/C++ programming languages. The course culminates in a week-long design project that is intended to test the skills that students have gained throughout the semester. Twelve hands-on laboratory experiments, designed to introduce students to the engineering disciplines offered at Ohio State, are conducted throughout the semester.
